Is it ever too late to get married?

Apparently, it’s never too late to get married. I had a wonderful weekend with 2 beautiful ladies at the coast and we got chatting about marriage and life, you know how you do when you’re at the oceanfront and relaxing with good conversation and a lovely bottle of white wine. According to the ladies, its never to late to get married. I, on the other hand, think there should be a cap. I mean things could change, however, if you happy in life and you’re at a mature age where your life is set and you are in a good relationship with your partner, why would you possibly want to fork out thousands of dollars in a wedding when things are already good.

Here’s what they say. Conventional wisdom says the longer you wait to get hitched the less likely you are to get divorced. Let it soak in. What’s not really good are the stats, that show you are more likely to get divorced at an older age than you would when you are younger.  A new study from the University of Utah challenges this idea. And found that divorce risk declines for people who wait until their late 20s and early 30s to get married. O that’s fine, here's the blow, it rises again for those who delay walking down the aisle until their late 30s. which is me, so I am right to some extent. Do you agree? Is it ever too late to get married?
