The Office Hottie Speaks:
We asked this years Office Hottie, Chandre Manuel, a couple of questions following her win, here is what she had to say:
RW: Have you followed the Office Hottie competition in the past?
CM: I have not followed the competition in the past.
RW: Did you enter yourself or where you entered by someone at work?
CM: I was told by colleagues to enter the competition (Adri Diergaardt and Rosalia Severus) as they thought I had potential.
RW: What did you feel your chances were of winning?
CM: At first I thought my chances were moderate, and once a started tracking the number of hits on the site, I sort of lost hope.
RW: This is the third year that someone from the Erongo region has won - what do you think there is about coastal girls that makes them so appealing?
CM: I guess it's the sea breeze (LOL). To be honest I really don't know.
RW: Time to get a bit personal with a question I am sure many of the people who voted want an answer to - is there anyone special in your life or are you still looking for him or her?
CM: Yes, I have someone very special in my life, actually two (Louis Maletzky and our son, Darian).
RW: On to the prize - how excited are you about the N$ 5000.00 shopping voucher from Queenspark?
CM: The Queenspark voucher is my main point of excitement. I love shopping or as they say "retail therapy", it's a real stress relief, my ideal "go-to" place.
RW: Who are you planning on taking with you on the holiday and when do you think you'll be taking it?
CM: I'm still thinking on who to take along, but the purpose of the lodge weekend for me is to relax and unwind, so the possibility of me going alone is also good.
RW: Lastly, your photo was quite creative but still managed to capture the essence of being in an office - what advice would you give to people who want to enter the competition in the future?
CM: My advice to future contestants: capture "you" in the picture, portray your personality, keep it classy (not too much skin) and always show confidence
