Jozi FM Fails To Pay DJs

E-mail Print PDF

Disc jockeys at popular Soweto radio station Jozi FM are angry after management failed to pay their salaries this month. They were supposed to have been paid on April 25.

According to a memo sent to staff by management, the station did not make money because presenters did not play some adverts as expected .The memo further states that payments will be made “as and when monies become available”.

The DJs were only given the bad news last Wednesday, just two days before they were due to be paid.
