02-29 October: Art Talk - John Muafangejo

Come and join this art talk entitled "The Battle of Rorke’s Drift" on the 24th of October at 18h30 at FNCC Cinema.

As part as the John Muafangejo Art Centre’s Season 2017 running from 2 to 29 October, JMAC, the Namibian Arts Association and the FNCC will host this session around John Muafangejo’s eponymous artwork.

28 October - Felabration

In partnership with KoolTrain, the FNCC will be hosting Namibia’s very own edition of the international Felabration on 28 October at 18h00!

Felabration is an annual music festival conceived in 1998 by Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti in memory and celebration of her father Fela Kuti, a Nigerian musician and human rights activist known for pioneering the afrobeat genre of music.  Fela Kuti is Africa’s cultural icon, hero and genius whose wisdom, radicalism and politics were expressed through his music. Fela had a vision for a united Africa and was dedicated to the liberation and self-determination of all Africans and those in the diaspora.
