I’ve been with Radiowave since 2001, the first seven and a half years of which being producer of ads and imaging. I moved into the research industry almost four years ago, but there’s an unwritten rule about working at Wave… You never really leave Radiowave. Not only do I have the pleasure of presenting the Brit40, but my wife also still works here. Radiowave is still 100% family to me.
Who am I off-air? Well, as I’ve mentioned, I work in research full-time. I’m also a musician on the side, a sushi fanatic, creative writer, a lover of fine whiskeys and red wines, and a gamer. (PC, not console.)
My dreams? As a voice-actor, I would really like to get into the voice cast of something like a Pixar animation. I’m aiming to do an MBA from next year (Holding thumbs) and eventually satisfy my entrepreneurial spirit.
What do I dislike? Pretentiousness. Be who you are. Speak your mother-tongue with pride. Accept your past. Admit to your mistakes. Be real. Let your words be the truth.
What am I really good at? Working with people is probably my biggest strength. And then there’s go-karting. Yes. It’s a challenge. I’m busy putting a dream-team together for a big race. Watch this space. And if I had a superhero name, it’d probably be Captain Accent! Superpower: Being able to speak in a vast array of pointless accents.
