I suppose I should start from the very beginning but I’ll make sure not to bore you with all the details of my very fascinating life thus far.
I am the youngest of four and I like to say I was born in Windhoek bred in Kwa-Zulu Natal and buttered in Cape Town. I had to fantastic parents growing up and while chasing their entrepreneurial dreams my siblings and I where sent to boarding school in South Africa. I wouldn’t change that for anything growing up in boarding school was pretty much like growing up in the UN I met all types of people from all walks of life and it’s that environment that as made me the open minded tolerant human being I am today.
My love for radio I discovered in my final matric year, I listened religiously to Metro FM’s breakfast show and I thought to myself how awesome it is to have a job that involves putting people in a good mood.
I was sent off to varsity and there I pursued radio even further and MFM where I co-hosted the grave yard shift 3am to 6am in the morning. Needless to say I never quite completed my degree but I pursued passion the rest I can say is history. Here I am today on Namibia’s number 1 hit music station.
There is so much I love about radio besides it providing me with a livelihood; I think its one of the most intimate forms of media and the three hours I spend with our listeners is fulfilling. Wouldn’t change it for the world.
