Zimbabwean Comedian Carl Joshua Ncube is back in Windhoek

A few years ago during the /Ae //Gams Festival, a Zimbabwean stand-up Comedian came to perform at the Warehouse Theatre with Free Your Mind and almost brought the house down. Now he is back in Namibia for one night only at The Loft and his name is Carl Joshua Ncube.

With almost 6 years of experience in the deejaying industry, Dj Maggz has carved her way into the male dominated industry earning a place onto Redbull’s list of Opinion Leaders for 2017.

Well on her way to create a female flare in the deejaying industry, she has experience in both Cooperate and club events. DJ Maggz has shared the stage with heavyweights in the entertainment industry like: Heavy K, DJ Maphorisa, DJ Clock,Sally Boss Madam, DJ Buckz, Oteya, DJ Kboz, Pex Africah, PDKs, DJ Paulo & Dicklas One just to name a few.

27-29 April: Pontius Who?


Bank Windhoek and Lab Theatre present “Pontius Who?”. This Musical, Drama and Theatre production will be staged on 27, 28 and 29 April 2017, at 19:00 at the Eros Dutch Reformed Church (NG Church) in Windhoek.

Aldo Behrens crafted the story and text, based on a follow up of “Pontius Who?” in 2015, with a blind beggar who got his sight back and a time traveller, both being played by David Ndjavera. This year’s play will feature the well-known Big K’s Gospel Group, a group who impressed immensely in 2014 during the production of “A Whale in the Goreangab”.

29 April - Acoustic Fridays: Soul Kombo

Join Soul Kombo on Friday 29th April, a promising combination of voices and rhythms of jazz, neo-soul and Afro-fusion  featuring Rahma the Bass, Ali Jonker, Nokuphila, Nasim and Tapz as they take the Acoustic Friday stage!

The Soul Kombo is an acoustic afro-jazz band formed collaboratively in Namibia with members from all over the globe. The music they create is heavily inspired by jazz with a lot of African flair and neo soul. The Soul Kombo style is rooted in making the audience part of a live jam session on stage. 

12 May - Elemotho album launch: "Beautiful World"

Elemotho will be releasing his new album Beautiful World at the FNCC on the 12th of May.

A new Sun is on the rise. Beautiful World is the soundtrack to this sunrise... a soundtrack of positivity, hope, freedom and optimism. Namibian singer/songwriter Elemotho is releasing his Fourth Album this year, a powerful musical project called Beautiful World.
